Titan Tea

A fair trade, cold-brewed tea

Titan Tea is a fast growing fair trade, cold-brewed tea company that makes a variety of iced teas infused with electrolytes to support hydration and ribose and caffeine for sustained energy.

While we wish some of the flavors were lower in sugar, the clean ingredients make it a viable alternative to anyone looking to kick a coffee addiction without loosing out on their much loved caffeine fix or for pre or post workout fuel. Designed by an athlete with athletes in mind, it comes in flavors like Lemon Black Tea, Raspberry Black Tea, Pomegranate Green Tea, and Peach Green Tea and they have about 70 calories per bottle.

Founder John Gagliardi says that he always had a love for brewed tea, but that as a professional athlete [he's a former Team USA lacrosse player and Johns Hopkins two-time All American], he [...]

New from Philosophy

No reason to hide

After arduous research and a number of studies, Philosophy has launched two new clinically backed products: No Reason To Hide Instant Skin-Tone Perfecting Moisturizer and No Reason To Hide Multi-Imperfection Transforming Serum.

We’re loving the moisturizer which is a soft textured tinted moisturizer that works as a BB Cream and a foundation, while hydrating skin. The creamy texture blends very easily into the skin and we’ve taken to applying it first thing in the morning as the tint has a brightening effect. It’s also formulated with SPF 20. As for the serum, it’s more of a treatment product designed to reduce blotchiness, redness, rough texture, to acne marks, enlarged pores, and [...]

super-seedz
SuperSeedz

Gourmet Pumpkin Seeds

Be prepared to be totally, 100% addicted to these pumpkin seeds. If you think a pumpkin seed is a pumpkin seed, SuperSeedz will quickly prove you wrong. Until we tried them we were perfectly happy with our Trader Joe’s versions, which are slightly larger, a little less expensive, but a whole lot less flavorful. What’s the most surprising however is that SuperSeedz manages to not only deliver high quality seeds, but add flavors to them - ranging from Somewhat Spicy seasons to Cinnamon and Sugar seasoning - without adding too much fat, sugar, or salt. In fact some of the flavors have a better nutrition profile than the plain seeds we were used to eating!

Seeds are an important part to a healthy diet and these snacks are truly delicious and ones the whole family will enjoy snacking on. Plus while you can eat them out of the bag, you can also put them on salads, in soups, in yogurt, mix them into your granola…the options are endless…we’ve even topped some of our [...]

It’s a Building Process

Multi-Step Skin Care

Asian women have been practicing multi-step skin care regimens for years, and Americans are finally starting to adopt the trend. While combining multiple serums, toners and moisturizers might seem over the top to some, dermatologists say it’s actually worth the few extra minutes each day: each product builds off the other, increasing each product’s efficacy and allowing the ingredients to target skin more effectively. Together, the right combination can fine-tune your complexion for blemish-free, hydrated, brightened and radiant skin, amping up results faster than you’d see using just one star product.

The key to perfecting a multifaceted regimen is knowing what to include, what to avoid and the right tips for application. With that in mind we turned to board certified dermatologist, Dr. Craig Kraffert for expert tips. See below!

  • Start light: As a rule of thumb, the thinnest products in a skin care regimen should go on first, as they deliver active ingredients the most efficiently and prep the skin for moisturizers. For dry skin, you can even use two serums -or layer a serum with a toner.
  • Add in antioxidants: Make sure the products are loaded with [...]
