Head-to-toe prints have been a huge trend these last few seasons as have pajama-inspired two piece looks. Here Rashida Jones combines both trends in one with her Erdem Austa Dauphine night floral-print blouse and Melinda Dauphine night floral-print trousers at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards 2013 in London.

We’re all about comfort, but the pajama trend is one we simply don’t understand and we imagine that guys - the kind who don’t read Vogue on a regular basis - won’t either. Given that we’re not trying to pull a man repeller anytime soon we think we’ll skip the PJ clothes, but we are fans of the head-to-toe prints and this one works well because it artfully balances color with a neutral backdrop.

It’s imperative to wear sunscreen year-round. This is not only a matter of beauty, but health. Have you read the research that recently came out? Sunscreen is the most effective and one of the (if not THE cheapest), way to prevent wrinkles and fine lines.

As temperatures rise across the country however it becomes even more important as you also want to prevent burning of the skin. We’re loving the great advice on Target’s A Bullseye View on this very topic. They enlisted award-winning dermatologist Dr. Brian Zelickson and beauty blogging guru Elizabeth Dehn of BeautyBets.com to dish their expert advice on sun safety tips and must-have summer skincare products. Plus we also just found out that Consumer Reports’ announced Target’s up & up Sport Spray Sunscreen as the top sunscreen for the year - cheap and effective - we love it.

Dove celebrity stylist Mark Townsend is known for creating pretty, soft and touchable styles for some of Hollywood’s biggest stars so, who better to give us the dish on some dos and don’ts when it comes to bridal hair styles? Here’s what Townsend had to share!

• “Tiny colored accents—whether it’s a crystal barrette, or a colored bobby pin—are everywhere. Use them as your something blue, or as a fun, subtle way to match your bridesmaids.”
• “A face-framing tendril or a few pieces around the face look great in pictures—but can get limp and sweaty on the dance floor. Rather than tucking behind your ear, twist and pin with a bobby pin to keep them cutely off your face.”
• “Been growing your hair before your wedding? Don’t be a bride with fuzzy split-ends. Schedule a trim three weeks before your cut, which leaves plenty of time for tweaks.”

A Chloe stunner

Crossbody bags need not be frumpy. Case and point this gorgeous Chloe number Rachel Bilson was recently spotted wearing. The actress paired Chloe’s mini ‘Elsie’ bag with a floral white skirt and a cozy sweater while out and about in Cannes and we can’t wait to mimic her look.

As any mother will tell you when dealing with little ones it’s key to have your hands free and this bag allows for that while having enough room to stock all of our essentials. Plus it’s made from grained leather so it will withstand some of the scruff and scratches that come from wearing it day-to-day whilst running our errands. Of course Chloe isn’t exactly budget friendly, but don’t think that will stop us! We’ve found a fantastic alternative at ASOS. How cute is this bag? And it’s about 95% less than Bilson’s!

Resorts Roll out Hybrid Versions for Every Type of Yogi

More resorts and destinations are introducing new styles of Yoga that combine unique programming to create a customized “fusion” workout and we couldn’t be happier. While it may seem counter intuitive, we actually like working out while on vacation - in moderation of course. It’s the perfect way to clear our mind and zen out and we don’t have nearly enough time to do it when we’re home.

To that end, here’s a look at three yoga-inspired getaway you might consider taking this summer (take us with you, won’t you?)

Spinning + Yoga = Spoga, at The BodyHoliday, Saint Lucia

Kayaking + Yoga = KaYoga, at Sea Island, Georgia and St. Petersburg, Florida

KaYoga, the hottest new exercise to hit Florida’s award-winning beaches and waterways, combines kayaking and yoga to create an invigorating, fun workout. Instructors of KaYoga lead kayaking groups to secluded barrier islands where they unwind with gentle, relaxing Hatha yoga on the beach. Local yoga and fitness expert Tim Ganley created KaYoga as a way to combine exercise whilst enjoying the natural environment and beautiful scenery of St. Petersburg/Clearwater. The experience starts with 45 minutes of kayaking where participants may encounter dolphin, birds and other wildlife. Once groups arrive to the deserted island, they will participate in an hour-long yoga class and then kayak back (classes are approximately 3 hours from start to finish). Classes cost $60/person. Sea Island, the Forbes five star resort situated on the coast of Georgia, also offers the special work-out, giving guests a unique way to wake up and unwind. Re-connect with the environment during the serene and stimulating 2 hour kayak and yoga experience. Available every Wednesday at 9am, guests can immerse in the natural beauty of the Sea Island waterways paddling out to a picturesque beach to enjoy 60 minutes of inspiring Vinyasa flow yoga. Classes are $95/person.

A new revolution in body-mind medicine, Laugher Yoga combines simple laughter exercises with gentle yoga breathing to enhance healing and happiness. From Lapis Spa at Fontainebleau Miami Beach

The warm weather is finally upon us so we asked Josie Feria, Director of Lapis Spa at Fontainebleau, to show us how to get rid of dry, flaky skin with two super easy, super relaxing DIY spa treatments.

Summer Body Exfoliation

· Ingredients: ½ cup olive oil, ¾ cup fine sea salt and drops of your favorite aromatherapy oil. Keep in mind the oil selected should be specific to treatment goal – citrus is energizing – lavender relaxing – peppermint stimulating

· Place all items in a bowl and blend together

· Next, step into the shower and moisten the body – apply the blend by hand in circular motion or for increased exfoliation apply with loofah mitt or body brush

· Rinse off thoroughly. Skin will feel smooth and soft and supple. For further hydration apply body lotion directly to moist skin

Summer Facial for Extra Dry Skin

· Ingredients: ½ avocado, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt, 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. The avocado and coconut oils work as an instant skin softener as the baking soda works as a mild exfoliator

· Place all items in bowl and blend well together · Apply the mixture to your face and leave on for 10-15 minutes

· Rinse off with warm water Foot Scrub for Dry Feet and Heels Simulates Foot Rehab Pedicure

· Begin by soaking feet in ¼ cup baking soda to reduce inflammation and cleanse feet thoroughly for 10 minutes

· Using a wet pumice stone rub heels thoroughly yet gently to remove dry callous

· Next, apply coconut oil to feet

· Finally, wrap feet in plastic and cover with soft socks for 30 minutes. The plastic and warmth will help the oil to soften the skin.
