Target launched their new home brand, Threshold, with a bang last week erecting a 1,600-square-foot dollhouse complete with a patio and lawn area smack in the middle of Grand Central in New York City. There were somewhere between 3,500 and 4,000 products on display in the house and, with few exceptions, all are available for purchase at Target.

We’re major fans of Quirky, a website whose aim is to make invention accessible by partnering with creative people around the world to help them bring their great ideas to life. All of the site’s products were developed by Quirky in collaboration with hundreds of their online community members.

The latest awe-inspiring innovation to come from the site is Slimline ($34.99), a drying rack that makes the most of small spaces. Its compact design hangs discreetly over the door, remaining slim and out of the way until you need it. When deployed, its aluminum shelf provides plenty of room for delicates, and the racks are perfect for towels. In addition to its primary rack, Slimline also features an extra towel bar, which can be accessed whether the rack is open or closed.
