Frugal wines from Italy

Super stylish and delicious to boot, we’ve become umm…quite the KRIS guzzlers. We don’t feel guilty though - why? Because KRIS Wines is a brand that does good. They’ve once again partnered with Americans for the Arts to launch a campaign where parents can vote for their favorite public schools on Facebook and then KRIS Wines will donate art grants to the schools with the most votes.

Vote now through October 31st so that your school of choice can have a chance at the award. KRIS will be giving a whopping $25,000 to 16 K-12 schools nationwide to support quality arts education programs. $5,000 will go to the school with the most votes. The next top five schools will each receive $2,000, and the remaining ten schools will receive $1,000 each. Voters must be 21 years or older and can vote for multiple schools one time per day throughout the program.

We figured that with KRIS doing so much good for our little ones’ education the least we could do was drink their wine, right? Handcrafted in Alto Adige, KRIS is a product of seventh generation winemaker Franz Haas and his wife, Maria Luisa Manna Haas, and we’re particularly fond of their Heart Rosso. Affordable and beautifully packaged, it works perfectly for our pizza fridays:)
