We’ve all been hearing an extreme amount of chatter about superfoods - especially chia. Chia is one of the world’s best sources of whole-food, plant-based protein and all-natural, long-lasting energy. It’s also hydrophilic (i.e. it can absorb up to ten times its weight in water, so you stay hydrated and full). Compared to salmon it has more omega 3s, more fiber than oatmeal, more protein than tofu, and more calcium than milk….not bad!
