One man’s humble quest for bodily perfection
We’re always on the look out for new health-focused books so we were excited to get a review copy of “Drop Dead Healthy.”
Written by A.J. Jacobs, the author of “The Know-It-All” and “The Year of Living Biblically,” Jacobs set out to makeover his body and become the healthiest person in the world. The experiential journalist assembled a team of experts and explored every aspect of the body to get into shape and, over the course of two years, subjected himself to grueling (but entertaining!) workouts and diet regimens.
Jacobs breaks down his quest for perfection by body part for a book that’s part memoir, part guide, and totally hilarious. Check it out here.
On a side note, how adorable is the book cover?
